     The Coconino County Jail, or Flagstaff Jail, is the County's main detention facility; it is located in Flagstaff, Arizona at 951 E. Sawmill Road.  The Flagstaff facility is a 596 bed jail with an operating capacity of 477 beds (operating capacity is 80% of the total 596 available beds).

     Visitation is held from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM daily; visitors must sign in at the front desk in the lobby.

Initial Appearance Schedule

     Initial appearances (IAs) are held at the Coconino County Jail within 24 hours of a person's arrest.  Those arrested with misdemeanor charges may be bonded out prior to their IA.  Those arrested on Felony charges are not bondable until their IA.  Defendants typically appear before the Judge via video transmission.
